ABOUT US
NRIPC is a patient-focused, full service primary care practice based in the heart of midtown, Raleigh, North Carolina. As a new practice, our team brings decades of combined healthcare experience to the practice specifically designed to treat the whole person. NRIPC is a part of a collaborative care model that combines medical services and mental or behavioral health services to promote and fully address the array of issues that patients may bring to a primary care office.
Because the vast majority of patients in primary care have either a physical ailment that is affected by stress, problems maintaining healthy lifestyles, unhealthy substance use or a psychological disorder, it is clinically effective and cost effective to make behavioral health providers part of primary medical care. Evidenced-based care is critical to addressing each of the root problems in patient encounters.
NRIPC provides patients the comfort in knowing that for any problem they are facing, they have come to the right place.
By teaming mental health and medical providers, NRIPC is the structural realization of the biopsychosocial model advocated so broadly in Family Medicine and Psychiatry. It is the reunification in practice of the mind and the body, for so long addressed in the separate worlds of medical and mental health treatment.
NRIPC and our Collaborative Care model (CoCM)is a foundational element in Patient-Centered Primary Care.
